Human beings
How would an Alien describe humans to his people?? I guess something along these line, if it was smart enough http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human
And if you were an Alien, and were asked to describe human in a word, What would that be?
1 commentSwitch to Mac with (Leopard OS X)

Apple has released Mac OS X Leopard. And… it’s coooool. Features like
- Desktop Stacks - a much neater way of presenting files in a folder,
- Time Machine - that takes out the hassle of regularly backing up files. And for lazy ones like me, who pray every morning, that my system doesn’t crash and my hard drive doesn’t corrupt and Windows safely recovers from a serious error.
- Quick look - allows to preview files without opening them. Windows has this feature but it only gives a screenshot of the file contents. Whereas Leopard for eg. allows to preview Video files, That’s neat. I like it!!
- And of course Boot camp - that allows to run Windows on MAC. For the PC users like me, still a bit edgy to make the move, and worried about all the softwares I’ll have to re install and get new serial cracks, IFFF they are available.
So should I make the move… Yes, says my brain. But Mr. Brain, Mr. Bank Balance is in direct conflict with you and wants you to STFU. But Mr. Brain is very aggressive and says , “Go and find a rich girl friend who wants to birthday gift you a Mac Book Pro (with Leopard OS X)” !!!
Well, now that I know “The Secret”, all I gotta do is send out “I want a rich girl friend” waves, “whooosh”, “whooosh”….. Can you feel it? Now it’s out there and I just have to wait for the Universe to respond…
Psst: Mr. Universe, your time limit is 3 months, starting from today ![]()
Pinkophobia gone!! :)
A month ago, I hated the sight of pink colour on clothes or any of my personal items. Dunno why I developed such a strong disliking. Honestly If I stared at any pink object for more than 5 seconds, I felt like puking. It was that bad!!
And to make things worse I told my workmates at Griffith about it and also my house mate. At Office, when someone’s away on holidays, we gotta decorate their desk. And have a look at what happened to my desk, http://www.flickr.com/photos/invent/735033791/. And my house mate suddenly started to wear pink more than ever before!! Pink skirts, tops, shoes, belt, ear rings, the full suite. And her strategy worked, I kept away from her…
Now, it’s been over a month and things are different. I mean I don’t mind, pink stuff around me. The curtains in my room are pink. My bed sheet’s pink. My bedroom colour is slightly pinkish. More so, I bought a shirt, that’s pink, which I never thought I’ll ever do. Moving to a new place can sometimes have a profound effect, especially if you have lived with someone as crazy as my house mate, who would take extra pain everyday to wear pink.
So u see, pink is new trend for me now. And I am no more itchy about it.
After all, Roses are pink!!
2 commentsTwenty Dollars
A well known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20 bill. In the room of 200, he asked. “Who would like this $20 bill?” Hands started going up. He said, “I am going to give this $20 to one of you - but first, let me do this.”
He proceeded to crumple the 20 dollar note up. He then asked. “Who still wants it?” Still the hands were up in the air.
“Well,” he replied, “what if I do this?” He dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. “Now, who still wants it?”
Still the hands went into the air.
“My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $20. Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless; but no matter what happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value.
Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless to those who love you. The worth of our lives comes, not in what we do or who we know, but by …WHO WE ARE.
You are special - don’t ever forget it.”
