Internet Explorer enlarges images

The issue of Internet Explorer browser resizing images, has been bugging me for a while. What it basically does is enlarges the images about 25% or so and thus it appears jagged and/or pixelated.

Luckily came across this post, “http://www.tutorials-win.com/IE6/Enlarges-Images/” that helped me to fix it.

Thanks heaps tutorials-win

FINALLY you have written something here! Looks like you were hibernating all through winter :)

I didn’t understand how the problem gets fixed – could you translate into plain English pls! Ok, is this related to pictures which you receive in your inbox, or pictures you are trying to upload to your blog???

    Meeeeee!

Ya, back from hibernation trance :)

No, this issue happens only on computers with higher screen resolution, For eg. mine which has a resolution of 1600 X 1050. Most monitors have screen resolutions of 1280 x 1024 or less, so it doesn’t affect them. So probably you don’t have to worry about it & it won’t affect your mails or any girly pictures you put on ur blog ;)

Tan-kooo for coming back from hibernation!! FInally the wild life begins again! Makes things more exciting for me too in the blog world :)

Pooh I think I put up quite nice pics on my blog :) So why does your screen have a higher resolution? Is it because of normal desktop monitor instead of laptop screen?
